What is a skinny tumbler?

A skinny tumbler is a tall, narrow insulated cup, usually 20oz, with a base under 2.5 inches. The narrow base is the whole design brief: it fits cup holders that a standard tumbler will not, including car consoles, stroller trays, treadmill holders, and desk organizers.

Where a narrow base matters

  • Older and compact cars — consoles built before oversized tumblers existed.
  • Strollers and diaper bags — narrow tray cups and side pockets.
  • Treadmills and gym equipment — bottle holders sized for a water bottle.
  • Desk organizers — a narrow footprint that leaves desk space.
  • Purses and totes — stands upright in a bag without tipping.

Dimensions and insulation

Skinny tumblers trade surface area for footprint. The same 20oz volume in a narrower body means a taller cup, which is also why they carry a tall vertical design better than a standard tumbler does.

  • 20oz capacity — 8.5in tall, 2.4in base.
  • 18/8 stainless steel — double-wall vacuum insulated.
  • Cold 20 hours, hot 6 — slightly less than a wider body, more surface area per ounce.
  • Slider lid and straw — a reusable straw included.
  • Powder-coated body — laser-engraved or UV-printed.

Care and gifting

Hand wash the body, top rack for the lid, and use the included brush on the straw. Skinny tumblers are the most requested style for teachers, nurses, and anyone whose cup has to fit something specific. 10% of every purchase is donated to a Christian ministry, mission, charity or non-profit. Skinny tumbler questions, answered

What makes a tumbler skinny?

A base under about 2.5 inches. It holds the same 20oz in a taller, narrower body so it fits cup holders a standard tumbler will not.

Will it fit my car cup holder?

Almost certainly. At 2.4 inches it fits older and compact car consoles that reject wider tumblers.

Does it keep drinks cold as long as a regular tumbler?

Slightly less, around 20 hours instead of 24, because a narrow body has more surface area per ounce.

Does a straw come with it?

Yes, a reusable straw sized to the lid, plus a cleaning brush.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Hand wash the body. The lid and straw can go on the top rack.

Skinny or standard 20oz?

Skinny if the cup has to fit a specific holder. Standard if it does not, since it keeps cold marginally longer.
