What is an insulated tumbler?

An insulated tumbler is two stainless steel walls with the air pumped out from between them. That vacuum is the entire mechanism: heat cannot conduct across a vacuum, so the drink stays at its temperature and the outside surface stays at room temperature.

What vacuum insulation actually does

  • No heat transfer — a vacuum conducts almost nothing.
  • No condensation — the outer wall never gets cold enough to sweat.
  • No taste transfer — 18/8 stainless is inert, unlike plastic.
  • Ice lasts a full day — 20 to 24 hours in a closed tumbler.
  • Hot drinks hold six to eight hours — longer if preheated.

Sizes, lids, and finish

Every size in this collection uses the same wall construction. What changes is capacity, base diameter, and lid type, which is what you are actually choosing between.

  • Sizes — 12oz, 20oz, 30oz, and 40oz.
  • 18/8 stainless steel — food-grade, BPA-free throughout.
  • Slider, flip, or straw lid — depending on the size.
  • Powder-coated exterior — grip that does not slip in a wet hand.
  • Laser-engraved or UV-printed — engraving is permanent.

Care and gifting

Hand wash the body, and pull the lid gasket weekly, which is where every insulated cup eventually develops an odor. Insulated tumblers are the most given item in this shop for teachers, nurses, and graduations. 10% of every purchase is donated to a Christian ministry, mission, charity or non-profit. You are helping the Kingdom of Heaven with every purchase.

Insulated tumbler questions, answered

How does vacuum insulation work?

Air is removed from between two stainless walls. Heat cannot conduct across a vacuum, so the drink holds its temperature and the outside stays dry.

How long do drinks stay cold?

20 to 24 hours with a closed lid at room temperature. Prechilling the tumbler before filling adds noticeably.

Can I put it in the dishwasher?

Hand wash the body to protect the powder coat and the design. Lids and straws are top-rack safe.

Why does my tumbler smell?

The lid gasket, not the body. Pull it out weekly and wash it separately.

Will it sweat on my desk?

No. That is the practical advantage of a vacuum wall over a single-wall or foam-insulated cup.

Which size should I choose?

12oz for a small coffee, 20oz for most people, 30oz for all-day water, 40oz only if you have somewhere to set it down.
