What is Christian streetwear?

The short answer

Christian streetwear is faith-based apparel built on streetwear silhouettes: boxy heavyweight t‑shirts, oversized hoodies, dropped shoulders and large-scale graphics. Love & Love YAH designs its own, prints it to order on 6.0 to 7.0 oz cotton and 10 oz fleece, sizes S to 4XL, and donates 10% of every purchase to a Christian ministry, mission, charity or non-profit.

Streetwear is a language of fit and scale. The shirt is wide and short, the shoulder falls past the joint, the graphic runs bigger than a chest logo, and the whole thing is meant to be seen from across a parking lot. Putting scripture into that language does something a small cross on a pocket cannot: it makes the message the loudest part of the outfit.

This collection is patterned as streetwear from the start rather than being an ordinary tee ordered two sizes up. The body is genuinely boxy, the hem sits at the hip, and the sleeve is cut wide so it hangs instead of clinging.

What is in the collection

  • Oversized tees — 6.0 to 7.0 oz heavyweight cotton, boxy body, dropped shoulder, front-to-back and full-back prints.
  • Boxy hoodies — 10 oz fleece, wide body, ribbed hem, double-lined hood.
  • Zip hoodies — same body with a metal zip and split-front graphics.
  • Snapbacks and beanies — embroidered, structured crowns to match the silhouette. See all hats.
  • Print treatments — screen print for flat solid color, puff print for raised type, and direct-to-garment for photographic and full-color art.

Fit: how to order streetwear sizes

Order your true size for the intended oversized look. This is the mistake most people make with Christian streetwear brands: they size up out of habit and end up in something two silhouettes too large. If you want the shirt closer to the body, order one size down. Hoodies run wide, so your true size gives you a proper streetwear drape with room for a tee underneath.

  • True size = the fit shown. One down = normal fit. One up = extremely oversized.
  • S to 4XL across tees and fleece.
  • Body length is short by design — taller wearers may prefer one size up for hem coverage.

The designs, and why the type is loud

The graphics draw on the parts of scripture that already read like a declaration: the narrow road of Matthew 7, salt and light from the Sermon on the Mount, the remnant, the armor of Ephesians 6, the name Yahushah written out in full. Type is set large and heavy, often across the full back, because that is where a stranger reads it. Some pieces stay abstract — a mark, a date, a single word — for wearers who want the door open without a sermon on the front.

Everything is drawn in-house. Nothing in this collection borrows a logo, a wordmark, or a layout from another brand, which is a real concern in faith-based streetwear and one of the more common reasons a small label disappears.

Fabric weight, print durability, and care

Heavyweight cotton is the point of this collection: it hangs with structure, it does not go transparent, and the collar keeps its shape. It also takes screen and puff prints better than a lightweight blank. Puff print is raised, so it needs slightly gentler handling than flat screen print.

  • Wash cold, inside out, tumble dry low. Heat is what cracks a print.
  • Skip the fabric softener — it dulls cotton and clogs wicking finishes.
  • Air dry heavyweights if you want them to keep their shape and length.
  • Spot clean embroidered caps; machine washing collapses the crown.
  • Turn puff prints inside out and never iron the graphic directly — heat flattens the raised texture permanently.

Everything is printed or embroidered to order and ships in two to four business days. Free shipping over $75, thirty-day returns, and 10% of every purchase is donated to a Christian ministry, mission, charity or non-profit.

Christian streetwear questions, answered

What is Christian streetwear?

Faith-based clothing built on streetwear silhouettes: boxy oversized tees, heavyweight fleece, dropped shoulders and large-scale scripture or symbol graphics.

What size should I order in oversized streetwear?

Order your true size for the oversized fit shown. Size down one for a normal fit, and only size up if you want an extremely large drape.

How heavy is the cotton?

Tees are 6.0 to 7.0 oz heavyweight ringspun cotton and hoodies are 10 oz fleece with a brushed interior.

What is puff print and how do I care for it?

Puff print is a raised screen print with texture you can feel. Wash cold inside out and never iron the graphic, since heat flattens it permanently.

Do you print full-back graphics?

Yes. Front-to-back and full-back prints are standard across the streetwear collection.

Are the designs original?

Every design is drawn in-house. We do not reprint or adapt another brand's artwork, logos or wordmarks.

The give-back

Every streetwear order sends 10% to a Christian ministry, mission, charity or non-profit.
