Twelve-color giclée printing for deep blacks and true color.
Giclee is a printing process, not a paper. It uses a wide-format inkjet with eight to twelve pigment inks instead of the four a standard printer uses, which is what lets it hit the subtle midtones and deep neutrals a four-color press flattens out. Love & Love YAH designs each one in-house, makes it to order, and donates 10% of every purchase to a Christian ministry, mission, charity or non-profit.
The same giclee file prints differently on rag and on canvas. Rag holds more detail and finer type. Canvas warms the palette slightly and reads as a painting from a distance.
Frame paper giclees under UV glazing with an acid-free mat. Keep any print out of unfiltered all-day sun. Limited editions ship with the number and total written in pencil on the border. 10% of every purchase is donated to a Christian ministry, mission, charity or non-profit. You are helping the Kingdom of Heaven with every purchase.
Giclee uses eight to twelve pigment inks on a wide-format inkjet instead of four dye inks, so midtones and neutrals hold rather than flattening.
They are not competing terms. Giclee is the process; fine art print describes the archival materials. Every fine art print here is a giclee.
Paper for detail and type, framed under glass. Canvas for scale and no glare, hung unframed.
Limited editions are numbered in pencil on the border. Signing varies by piece and is noted on the product.
Pigment inks are rated for decades indoors. Direct unfiltered sunlight will shorten that for any print, on any substrate.
More ink channels, archival substrate, and per-piece color profiling rather than a bulk press run.
70% goes directly to the artist.
