What is a Christian car magnet?

The short answer

A car magnet is a flexible printed magnet that sticks to a steel body panel and lifts off whenever you want it gone. It is the answer for anyone who wants a verse on the vehicle but drives a lease, shares the car, or would rather not commit adhesive to paint. Love & Love YAH designs each one in-house, makes it to order, and donates 10% of every purchase to a Christian ministry, mission, charity or non-profit.

Why a magnet instead of a sticker

  • Nothing permanent — no adhesive, no residue, no paint risk.
  • Removable in seconds — take it off for a sale, a lease return, or a car wash.
  • Reusable — moves between vehicles as often as you like.
  • Larger format — 30mil magnets carry more text legibly than a bumper sticker.
  • Ministry use — service times and a church name that can come off the van.

Thickness, sizes, and hold

Thickness is what decides whether a magnet stays on at highway speed. At 30mil these hold at freeway speeds on a clean flat steel panel, but no magnet holds on aluminum, fiberglass, or plastic body panels.

  • 30mil flexible magnet — the automotive standard thickness.
  • UV-coated print — resists sun fade for two to three years outdoors.
  • Sizes — 8x4, 12x6, 18x12, and 24x12 inches.
  • Rounded corners — reduces the lift that starts peel-away at speed.
  • Steel panels only — will not adhere to aluminum or plastic doors.

Care that makes them last

Remove the magnet weekly, wipe both the magnet back and the paint, and let both dry before reattaching. Trapped grit and moisture under a magnet is what marks paint, not the magnet itself. 10% of every purchase is donated to a Christian ministry, mission, charity or non-profit. You are helping the Kingdom of Heaven with every purchase.

Car magnet questions, answered

Will a car magnet damage my paint?

Not if you remove and clean under it weekly. Damage comes from grit and moisture trapped underneath over months, not from the magnet.

Will it stay on at highway speed?

Yes, on a clean flat steel panel with the whole magnet in contact. Do not place one across a body crease or seam.

Will it stick to my car?

Only if the panel is steel. Test with a refrigerator magnet first. Many newer doors and tailgates are aluminum or plastic.

Can I leave it on in the rain?

Yes, but remove and dry both surfaces afterward. Standing water under a magnet is what causes staining.

Should I take it off in a car wash?

Yes. Automatic brush washes will catch an edge and pull the magnet off.

Can our church order a set for volunteer vehicles?

Yes. Any design can be ordered in quantity, with a church name, city, and service times added to most layouts.
